Are you having a hard time to get your kids to study? Thinking of ways to lure them to study? Getting your kids to study would be easier if you would give them their own space when they are studying. The best way to do this is to convert a part or their room or your house as their study station.
One of the best locations where you could place your kid’s study station is within an old closet that you do not use. This is because there are already hanging shelves present on the closet. You can paint the shelves and decorate them, for books and other storage. Drawers are also available so all you have to place is a table and some addition of lighting fixtures for a perfect study station. Decorate the station with your kid’s favorite cartoon character or paint it with his or her favorite color. Also add some cork boards and chalk boards on your kid’s study station for added effect. The closets door would also give him enough privacy, or you could change the doors with colorfully printed curtains. If you don’t have an extra closet, just convert a small space in your kid’s room as a study station. Place a table, where he could do all his work, you can also add some drawers where he could place his things, add shelves for extra storage. For added privacy when studying hang curtains around the study station. It is best to ask your kid to help you decorate his own space, so that it would be easier for you to think of all the decorations that you have to do.
If your kid’s room is quite small and you don’t have an extra closet, you can always make a study station in the attic, under the staircase and even on the hallway. Just make sure that the place is quiet enough for the kid to be able to study. If it’s not that quiet you can always make extra effort to make the place more private and quieter.
