Some may have the perception that providing security measures can be costly. However, there may be means on how to secure the house with less cost than necessary.
One trick that you can use if you can’t afford expensive home security systems is by placing gravel or rocks on the bottom floors of your window. Gravel or rocks can create a lot of noise when stepped on. It can help notify you when someone is trying to get inside through your window. You can also plant that have sharp leaves like cactus or roses (they can be beautiful too) along the windows to prevent them even more.
Keeping dogs as pets (especially guard dogs like Doberman and Rottweiler) can be a good idea too. They be a good companion inside the house and at the same time can protect you in times of trouble.
These tips can help you secure your house but make sure to remember the basics like locking your doors and staying on curfews.
